Cleaning mirrors and glass
So here is something that gives Windex a run for its money. Newspapers are one of the best things to clean glass or mirror. Just wet and clean away. This has been tried and tested in many homes in India over the years.

It really works for me, Dora. One more tip, it works wonders in cleaning dirty / stained plastic bottles. Tear a page of the newspaper to small bits. Put them in the bottle, add a little detergent and fiil the botte (1/3rd) with water. Shake well and keep aside for sometime. After an hour, rinse well and voila, the bottle is good as new.
Malini, I must try this. Thank you so much for the tip. I get instant coffee in plastic bottles, and when it finishes they are not clear any more and difficult to clean. So I will try this. Thank you!
