Daisy – Incepted
Howdy Gals?
I finally got to see the “Inception” last night ( their credit card machine was still down BUT I used my kidneys (another name for brain…duh) this time and took the all might cash for the ticket) And even laughed the a party of people who were turned away because they had no cash…..hahaha. (see my post of yesterday as to why I laughed at them)
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the movie. There were times during the movie I wanted to stand up and clap wildly like a madwoman. Had I been I Delhi, I probably would have done it cause there would be others just like me there whistling or commenting or clapping. It never was a problem there. People understood that some people just HAD to physically get up and shout and clap if they liked something.
I remember the time when the movie “Beta” had just been released and there was this song in it called “Ek do teen..”. I remember people actually throwing coins at the screen and dancing in the aisle. It was one big party. I would have joined them except I was with my cousins and more importantly my elder brother who would not have liked to see his sister dance like Anil Kapoor. So I joined those people in spirit only (and I don’t mean hooch)
I say Kudos to whoever wrote the screenplay for Inception. They have a very fertile imagination and I say it in a good way. If there is someone out there who can take me to the world of Dreams….I say sign me up. I tried hard all night to dream about a vacation in Europe without the kids whining and guess what…..NO LUCK. I will try again tonight though I have a feeling it might not work. I probably need some of that stuff they were sniffing right before dreaming. Again …where do I sign up:-)
