Puri and Potato curry recipe

This weekend I made puri and potato curry – one of our family’s favorite dish. This is really easy to make.

To make Puri

1.Take Chappathi flour and wet it .Add some salt and ghee .

2.Knead it properly.

3.Make small balls out of the dough.

4. Sprinke with wheat flour so that it wont stick to the rolling pin.

5.Roll out puris from these balls.

6.Pour oil in a frying pan and deep fry puris until its light brown

To make potato curry

1.Peel the skin off 2 or 3 potatos

2.Add the potato and 1 chopped onion and 2 green chillies,1 smalll garlicĀ and 1 tsp of tumeric in a pressure cooker .( you dont have to use a pressure cooker)

3. Turn off the gas after 2 whistle. Mash the potatoes .

4. Heat oil in another pan and splutter mustard seed and curry leaves and pour it over the potatoes..


Has anybody take flu shot? Just a warning to people who take flu shots…If you have a slight fever or think you are coming down with something then dont take the flu shot..My hus took the flu shot last week..He wasnt feeling well but didnt have a temperature the day he took it..After the flu shot, the temperature shot up to 104 that evening..After a day it came back to 102..it took 3 days for him to completely recover…
