Malini had a great idea for this months event – see below for details –
Its festive time…..People across the world are celebrating spring time. India is a country where people from all religions celebrate festivals as per customs & traditions.
The various celebrations are Naba Barsha (Bengali New Year), Baisakhi (Punjabi New Year), Gudi Padva / Ugadi (Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka), Pooram (Kerala), Rangali Bihu (Assam) including Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Food Friday, Easter to name a few.
So….let’s talk out traditions and traditional recipes.
Bloggermoms, all you have to do is:
Post your recipes, tips, ideas keeping in mind the celebrations on this site starting from 15th April to 15th May 2009.
Write in the subject line: ‘Festive Time’ Event.
Link back to the event announcement on from your post. Feel free to use the picture!!
You can even write about some festivals…….
Pictures will be an added advantage to highlight your recipe.
You can also mail your recipe along with a picture to firstname.lastname@example.org, and it will be posted it on this site during the round up.
Send in your entries as well!! Email them to email@example.com.
Write in the subject line: “Festive Time” Event.
Mention your name, name of the recipe and mention the link to this event as well.
If possible, attach pictures with the mentioned recipe/ idea/ tips/ writeup.
