Turkish Chicken Thighs

Friends, now I want to  tell you a  nutritious recipe  which I am sure you will like it.. I have tried it, it is delicious!!

The acidity of the  yogurt  helps tenderize  the chicken~~

Preparation time:1 hr 40 mins

Makes:4 servings

Ease of preparation : Moderate


8 bone in chicken thighs, skin removed

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup low fat plain yogurt

2 cloves garlic( minced)

1 tablespoon fresh ginger ( minced)

2 teaspoon hot paprika

1 teaspoon salt


Place chicken  in a large bowl, add lemon  juice and toss to coat.Whisk yogurt, garlic, ginger, paprika, salt in a seperate bowl . Pour the yogurt  mixture over the chicken and stir to coat.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.

          Position rack in upper third of oven, preheat broiler. Remove the chicken on a broiler rack and broil until browned on top about 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 400  F  and bake until the chicken is juicy (this meat will appear dark pink even when cooked  through)

  Serve immediately… ENJOY!!

    Have you tried marinating in greek youghurt? Food turns out very nice
